  1. It is too bad that so many people are missing the the real issue with testing. Technological issues are troubling because students and teachers are affected when the technology is not working. It causes additional stress – and that is not good. However, the questions we need to be asking are about the impact testing has on the days leading up to the actual tests. Are these tests truly measuring what we want most for our students as they enter into 21st century society? Is the score a child receives or a district receives really measuring the quality of the education we want in our schools?
